However, without a hint of strong color, the interior will look as if something is missing. So how to arrange a monochrome living room with a colorful accent?
Black and white or black and white?
Unfortunately, it is not without significance whether the colors of the living room will be predominantly black or white. In small interiors, white should be used as the base. When we have a large and well-lit interior, we can freely experiment with the predominance of black, which introduces a touch of elegance and sometimes even glamor to the interior. Our living room connected to the kitchen is small, so we decided to use a white color of the walls and a light floor. In this case, only accessories are dark, such as black and white graphics or mini-island furniture for the kitchen.
Yellow, or a little bit of color in the interior
Black and white interiors become expressive when we introduce one strong color to them. However, it is important to stick to this rule. Introducing another strong color will give the impression of chaos and randomness. Yellow is perfectly suited to modern interiors. It perfectly emphasizes the style of the interior and gives character to boring rooms. Ideally suited not only to spring stylizations but also throughout the year.
We introduced the yellow color to the living room with a pouf. Additionally, there are glasses with yellow legs standing on a mini-island. They can also be used as an interior. The black and white colors of the living room are, on the one hand, a background for yellow accessories, and on the other hand, it is these accessories that emphasize the character of the interior.
