ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 will be held in India starting from the 5th October, the ticketing details for the event are yet to be announced alongside with the schedule for the ICC World Cup 2023.

Arch Rivals India and Pakistan were scheduled to play a match at Ahmedabad on the 15th October but due to “Navratri” a Hindu religious festival falling on the same date, there might be security concerns which has forced BCCI and ICC to look into this matter.

According to Jay Shah this is not the only reason to change the Schedule of the World Cup 2023 and other cricket boards have also raised concerns over fixtures and dates which have become the reason to relook the fixtures.
The updated dates for the World Cup 2023 matches are expected to be announced this week, after a ICC meeting and input from the broadcasters.

As of now, there is no official verdict about the ticketing for the World Cup 2023 and we still wait for the updated schedule or a confirmation. According to sources the tickets for the World Cup 2023 might be going on sale from the 10th August.
There will be no service of e-tickets for the much anticipated match of India and Pakistan and cricket fans will have to get into long queues to buy themselves passes for this and some other matches at high capacity venues. Cricket fans have badly criticized this decision by the BCCI.
Media reports suggest that the Indian Cricket Board is finalizing the new schedule and ticket prices which have become the reason for the delay of tickets sale,cricket fans from all around the world are frustrated because the tickets of last two ICC events were on sale around an year before event.
