Pakistan Cricket Team schedule till ICC T20 World Cup 2024
Pakistan cricket team captain Babar Azam who is rested from the Pakistan’s series against Afghanistan is right now announced as the permanent captain of Pakistan cricket team.
Pakistan has a packed schedule till the ICC Men’s cricket T20 World Cup 2024. Pakistan will play around 20 T20s before this prestigious event. For the first time in history the tournament is scheduled in USA and West Indies.
Pakistan and India are all set to compete in the USA for the first time ever. This match will be very big for cricket in the upcoming years.
Pakistan will play 3 T20s Against Afghanistan and here according to Pakistan Cricket Board chairman there will be a testing for players.
Najam Sethi “We will test players in this series, we have added youngsters in the squad to test them”
“We have consulted the captain of Pakistan cricket team Babar Azam and other seniors before giving them rest” Najam Sethi added in his press conference.
“Babar Azam is the undisputed captain of Pakistan cricket team and the vice captain Shadab Khan will be leading the squad for this series” Najam Sethi said.
Pakistan will than play 6 T20s against West Indies which will be a big preparation for the ICC Men’s cricket World Cup. Than Pakistan will tour England, Ireland and Netherlands.
Against the three respective nations Pakistan cricket team will play a total of 11 T20s and than will move into the ICC Men’s T20 cricket World Cup.
The World Cup is scheduled to be played in July 2024 and will be summers in the United States of America.
This will be a unique cricketing tournament for the first time in the history of T20 World Cup there will be 20 teams participating and 3 rounds and total will be played. The first round will consist of five groups of 4 teams each followed by the second Super 8 round followed by the semi finals and the final of the tournament.
